Due to a profound interest in Green Technology development, the Group has acquired and assumed operations of two mini hydro power stations in Sri Lanka, specifically a 2.0 MW station in Rathganga and a 2.4 MW station in Manelwala. Additionally, the acquisition included obtaining licenses to develop two new mini hydro power stations: one of 3.0 MW and another of 3.6 MW, both situated at Padiyapelella.
The Majulia Group is actively pursuing new opportunities, either by developing new mini hydro power stations or by acquiring and taking over existing operational stations. The ultimate objective is to play a significant role in Green Technology Development. This strategic involvement is anticipated to provide the Group with a more stable and recurring cash flow. Furthermore, these mini hydro power stations, which come with concession agreements spanning 15 to 21 years, will enhance the financial position of the Group by adding substantial value.
